What to Expect During your Melasma and Rosacea Treatment

Step 1:
Your journey begins with a thorough consultation where our skincare expert evaluates your skin type, condition severity, and medical history. We’ll discuss your goals and customize a treatment plan that best suits your unique needs.

Step 2:
Before your session, your skin will be gently cleansed to remove makeup, oils, and impurities. A cooling gel or topical numbing cream may be applied to ensure comfort during the procedure.

Step 3:
Using a specialized laser device, precise pulses of light energy are directed to the affected areas. For melasma, the laser breaks down pigment beneath the skin. For rosacea, it targets visible blood vessels and reduces redness. The procedure is typically well-tolerated and lasts 20–45 minutes, depending on the area treated.

Step 4:
You may experience mild redness or warmth, similar to a light sunburn, which usually fades within a few hours. We’ll apply soothing skincare products and provide easy aftercare instructions to protect and calm your skin. Improvements can often be seen after just a few sessions, with continued progress over time. Your provider will recommend a series of treatments and maintenance options to keep your skin looking clear, healthy, and glowing.

What to know about Melasma Treatment and Rosacea Treatment in Parkland, FL

Following pre- and post-treatment instructions for Melasma and Rosacea Treatment is essential to ensure optimal results, minimize potential side effects, and enhance your treatment

  • How does Botox work?
Botox works by temporarily relaxing the muscles responsible for wrinkles and fine lines. It blocks nerve signals to the targeted muscles, preventing them from contracting and smoothing the overlying skin. This process softens the appearance of dynamic wrinkles like frown lines, crow’s feet, and forehead lines, leaving you with a refreshed, youthful look.
  • How long does Botox last?
The effects of Botox typically last 3 to 4 months, though this can vary based on individual factors like metabolism and treatment area. Regular maintenance treatments are recommended to sustain results. Over time, some clients may notice longer-lasting effects as their muscles adapt to the treatment.
  • Is Botox safe?
Yes, Botox is FDA-approved and has been extensively studied for both cosmetic and medical use. When administered by a qualified and licensed professional, it is a safe and effective treatment. Potential side effects, such as mild bruising, swelling, or temporary discomfort, are usually minimal and resolve quickly. Choosing an experienced provider ensures optimal results and minimizes risks.
  • What is an FAQ section?
An FAQ section can be used to quickly answer common questions about you or your business, such as “Where do you ship to?”, “What are your opening hours?” or “How can I book a service?” It’s a great way to help people navigate your site and can even boost your site’s SEO.

What is Unique about the PicoLazer technology?

Pico laser technology is a non-surgical, non-invasive laser skin treatment that can be used to address the majority of common skin imperfections, including spots caused by sun damage and acne scarring. Pico technology is regarded as one of the most advanced and sophisticated laser treatments currently available on the market. A picosecond laser selectively destroys the target / ink pigment without damaging healthy, normal tissue. This allows rapid clearing of the abnormal pigmentation with minimal collateral damage to surrounding tissue. This pico-second laser is dual-wavelength (1064nm and 532nm) and provides tattoo removal and skin revitalization procedures for wrinkles, acne scars, freckle, sunspot, and pigmented discoloration. There are different types of tattoo removal devices on the market, but not all lasers are created equal. Nanosecond lasers, which deliver pulses of light in nanoseconds, have been used for years. Picoseconds, on the other hand, are trillionths of a second. Studies show a picosecond laser removes pigmentation and tattoos faster and more completely than the existing nanosecond laser technology, resulting in upwards of 30% more clearance.

What is unique about IPL?

Unlike lasers, an IPL device sends out more than one wavelength of pulsating light. It can treat a range of skin conditions at the same time. After IPL, you may look younger because your skin tone is more even. While laser therapy uses a set wavelength depending on the procedure, intense pulsed light therapy uses multiple different wavelengths of light released in pulses.

You can think of it as a strobe light passing along the skin. IPL isn’t a focused beam like a laser. It instead is dispersed beams of light that work together. As the light penetrates down to the second layer of skin, it allows the cells to absorb its energy, heat up, and eventually destroy the pigmentation within the cell. This is how age spots, other discoloring blemishes, moles, birthmarks, and rosacea are diminished.

When will I see Melasma and Rosacea Treatment results?

For pigment It will take four to six weeks to see the full results from a single treatment, however you should see dark spots fade and slough off within a week. If you complete a series of treatments about one month apart, the maximum results will be visible in two to three months after the last treatment.

For redness, the results of IPL begin to appear right after treatment and continue to improve over the next few days to weeks. It does take some time for veins to fully collapse and be reabsorbed by the body, so full results cannot be seen right away. If symptoms accompanied the spider veins, they are usually relieved immediately after treatment.
