Prescription Weight Loss

Semaglutide is a medication that has been approved by FDA and shown to be effective for weight loss in individuals with obesity or overweight. It works by mimicking the action of a hormone called GLP-1, which regulates blood sugar levels and can also help to reduce appetite and food cravings. Semaglutide is administered via injection once a week and is typically used in combination with a healthy diet and exercise program.

The Experience

Pre-procedure

  • Do not receive treatment if  pregnant, breastfeeding, have problems with your kidneys or pancreas, have diabetic retinopathy, or low blood sugar. 

  • Fill out all general treatment forms and consents using the link sent via email.

  • Consultation is required

Day of Procedure

  • Your weight, blood sugar, and vital signs will be measured

  • The procedure is virtually painless and most people experience little to no discomfort.

Post-procedure

  • Like with any other weight loss management, the addition of a healthy diet and exercise will yield better and longer lasting results

  • This is a long term, once per week injection treatment of minimum 3 months duration

  • This is a generally well tolerated treatment with possible GI side effects such as nausea and vomiting, diarrhea or constipation, or heartburn
